Rocket Lawyer is seeking a UX Optimization Manager who will lead our site experience optimization efforts with the goal of driving customer acquisition. The successful candidate will start from data-driven hypotheses, move to rapid test iterations, and use customer experience best practices to drive design improvements -- all leading to improved funnel conversion rates and increased customer lifetime value.

In this role, you will combine creative, strategic, and tactical thinking with a deeply analytical approach to improve key performance metrics through customer segmentation and a deep understanding of user experience. In close collaboration with our design, engineering, product, and marketing teams, you will help translate our product and marketing strategies into an optimally designed and executed online customer experience. Most importantly, you will leverage your leadership skills to run a team that collaborates across all levels of the organization, and works equally effectively with engineers, designers, copy-writers and executives.
Key Responsibilities:
-- Define and manage our Optimization strategy through an understanding of the following: marketing and data requirements, customer segmentation and targeting, business line goals, and an optimization roadmap that ties with our product roadmap.
-- Understand technology, consumer, user experience, competitive, and product trends, best practices, and their implications for our acquisition and optimization strategies.
-- Improve our core funnel KPIs by leading the optimization team in the planning, design, implementation, and rapid iteration of A/B tests across each of our business lines.
-- Build aggressive and methodical test plans, employing analytical and statistical testing best practices, designed optimize customer experience and increase customer conversions.
-- Work closely with product management, marketing, design, and engineering teams to ideate, design, test and deploy innovative front-end experiences.
-- Present and report the Optimization team's work to relevant stakeholders and executives on a weekly basis.
Knowledge Skills required:
-- Deep knowledge of conversion rate optimization, user experience design, statistical analysis, consumer behavior, web analytics, and competitive analysis
-- Excellent communication, influence, partnering, and collaboration skills
-- World class analytics, problem solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
-- Strong project and organization management skills to coordinate multiple tests along the conversion funnel and across business lines.
-- Familiarity with web analytics tools, data warehouses, and query tools.
-- Experience with front end development - html, css, javascript, jquery - is a plus.
-- Experience with design Adobe Photoshop/Fireworks is a plus.
Qualifications:
-- 3+ years of web analytics experience (preferably in SaaS business)
-- 2+ years experience in website optimization and A/B testing
-- Experience with Optimizely testing platform strongly preferred
-- Knowledge of experimental test design protocols
-- Proven ability to synthesize conversion funnel analytics, testing (such as A/B and multivariate), and customer insights into business results.
