Webmaster/Designer
PernixData is looking for a Designer/Webmaster to assist the marketing team in
driving online engagement with prospects, customers and partners. Reporting
directly to the Director of Marketing Communications you will be responsible for all
designing and building web-based applications, online portals and marketing assets.
Essential Functions:
• Design and update site pages and features
• Design new site enhancements, including updates to navigation, search,
forums, etc., as well as architectures, user interface, and overall user
experience
• Integrate front-end design with back-end functionality
• Define, clarify and implement new design changes to build co-branded
content for partners
• Conceptualize, create and implement intuitive, engaging and brand
consistent e-mail communications and promotions
• Shoot, edit and deploy animated and video content
• Proactively organize and optimize work-flow, multitask and meet deadlines
in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
Desired Skills and Experience:
• 3-5 years of solid professional experience in Web design, implementation,
and architecture
• Proficiency with Drupal CMS
• Competency in XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Web trends and best practices for UX/UI design
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
• Experience in Web design, development, testing/debugging, implementation,
documentation and operations in medium-to-large enterprise environments.
• Experience with web analytics platforms
• Familiarity with Eloqua, After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus
