Description: The IT Application Development team is seeking a talented and experienced developer to participate on a team which does force.com development for our internal systems. You have a successful track record of delivery and a solid background in implementing all tiers of hosted application development. You have worked before with vendor partners. You understand integrations to SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for delivering through all phases of the project lifecycle, and will have primary responsibility for critical areas of functionality. You should have a history of building complex and successful customer-facing muti-tier applications. To be successful at this position, you must posses the ability to grasp a variety of unfamiliar technologies and integrate them quickly while working in a fast paced, team-driven environment. Agile experience a plus. This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess excellent oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team's portfolio.
Consultant need to be strong on force.com and Apex Coding.
Responsibilities:
• Act as senior developer on a project to design and implement features for a mission-critical application
• Participate in the scrum team under our agile development process
• Make design decisions and be able to defend them in front of the architecture team on the basis of performance, scalability, and future expansion.
• Develop high-quality, production ready code.
• Assist with project management duties for technical tasks
Required Skills/Experience:
• B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
• 6+ years software product development experience in Java, C or C++
• Very strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to varied audiences
• Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts
• Strong knowledge of javascript, CSS
• Experience building integrated systems
• Strong software engineering skills
• Algorithm design and analysis
• Experience building usable highly scalable systems or applications
• Expert understanding of software architecture and object oriented design
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work on multiple projects against deadlines
• Solid understanding of Internet technologies: firewalls, web servers, proxy servers, etc
• Knowledge of browser compatibility issues
• Bachelor´s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Desired Skills:
• 1 yr force.com development or Dev 401 and Dev 501 certifications
• 1+ year working with Salesforce applications or ADM 201 certifications
• Agile experience
• SOAP / XML / WSDL / REST
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational database programming
• Experience with web programming including jsp/servlets and web frameworks
• Comfort in speaking to executive level audiences on technical subjects
• API Design
• Knowledge of SOA / BPEL / BPM a plus
