You will be joining our on-Demand SaaS team chartered to bring creativity and innovation to the SaaS team. Your exceptional communication skills will come into play as you define and develop new features for our client's requirements. You will work cross functionally between development, sales and marketing and be the subject matter expert for our complex product offering. It is critical that you have the ability to understand complex product, service and operational behaviors.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Document use cases and user stories based on customer interviews
- Work closely with Product Management and Developers to prioritize new features
- Capture requirements through iterative interviews with subject matter experts
- Write functional specifications based on customer and Product Management requirements
- Contribute to ongoing communication with customers and subject matter experts to ensure functional specification and initial prototypes meet expectations
- Collaborate with product management and developer to negotiate project scope boundaries
- Work with developers to translate business requirements into technical implementations
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of each requirements specification
- Validate the application development to ensure the application in line with the definition
- Writing detailed functional specification, use cases ITSM application modules, reports definition
- Collaborate with User Experience and Development to ensure functionality is reflected in user interface
- Work with Quality Assurance to make sure that testing is aligned with business requirements
- Champion software product lines in terms of functionality, consistency in user experiences, advocating customers internally, delivery
Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience with life-of-business (LOB) or Enterprise Business Applications (EBA)
- Hands-on experience in working with end users to create the application definition, workflow, use cases
- Experience with MS Project, Visio or similar tools to create Best of Class functional and technical specifications
- Working Experience with IT organizations in implementing or managing the ITIL processes is a plus
- Any experience with Help Desk, ITSM, CRM or Supply Chain applications is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or equivalent experience
Skill Set:
- Bachelors / Masters degree or equivalent experience
- ITIL, COBIT, CMMI certification, ITIL master is a plus
A successful candidate will be prepared to discuss requirements gathering and modeling techniques at length, and should be able to provide effective examples from previous engagements.
