Job Description:
As Leader & Architect you will:
Direct & build a top-notch Software Organization that will produce the product instantiation of our camera architecture
Enable the ISV community, through new & extended APIs and tools, to develop compelling applications leveraging never-seen-before camera & imaging capabilities
Deliver Imaging APIs, optimized imaging software and camera device drivers for Smartphone platforms
Help Pelican achieve unprecedented levels of functionality and performance that culminate in high-quality production software delivered to Smartphone OEMs
Minimum Requirements:
10+ yrs developing go-to-market software including experience in embedded & Smartphone platforms
Linux and Windows development environments
One or more mobile OS: Android, iOS, Win7, etc.
Strong working knowledge of two or more relevant APIs: Android Camera, OpenGL/ES, OpenMax, CUDA, OpenCL, etc.
Exp with algorithm porting and acceleration for mobile platforms employing one or more multi-core processor, GPU, DSP, ISP, etc.
Expin delivering production-quality software to OEMs
Exp with Image Processing algorithms, Camera Pipelines and Video Processing
Good knowledge of digital photography and image quality standards
Strong project planning and risk management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Education:
PhD/MS/BS CS, EE or equivalent
