Job Description:
Synaptics is looking for an Applications Engineer for its ASIC Platform Development Organization. Eligible candidates will be working on world-class touch and display products for the mobile and PC businesses. Working with marketing and design engineering the candidate will define, develop and support the deliverables that will enable the successful launch and accelerated time to revenue of new products. These tools will include: datasheets, applications notes and reference designs.
• Manages standards' body relationships and design compliance of industry-standard interfaces
• Becomes technical expert in assigned areas
• Validates MPW and ES silicon
Required Qualifications:
• BS in Electrical Engineering. MS preferred
• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Highly motivated self-starter, able to use own initiative to debug issues and drive solutions.
• Outstanding problem solving skills and great attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced, multitasking environment
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge and practical experience with at least one programming computer language like C, C++, or Java, etc
