Location: Thousand Oaks, Ca


As a Senior Systems Engineer at Company you will be expected to assume a leading role in the creation of image pipeline solutions. You will contribute to the development of imaging systems in both software & firmware & be expected to make key architectural and implementation decisions.You must develop an intimate understanding of Company customers & their respective market segments. In doing so you will position yourself as somebody who is able to identify key development areas & subsequently make informed decisions as to how Company raw CMOS image data should be processed. Company is developing iSoC (imaging Systems on Chip) with integrated image processing, along with image pipelines realized in hardware & software. You will have a senior role in all three efforts. You will also be expected to have an active role in the characterization of iSoCs, evaluating the performance of all current & future designs.


Essential:
5+ yrs exp within an image sensor industry (CCD or CMOS).
Proficiency in hardware/firmware &/or software dev.
Programming ability in C, C++, C# or Java &/or exp in producing &scrum verifying RTL.
Some knowledge of digital logic design.
Proven track record in delivering complex imaging systems.
Some knowledge of at least one mid to high-end imaging market segment.
Proven ability to conceive new image processing algorithms.
Solid appreciation of statistical concepts.
Must be highly disciplined in producing high quality documentation.
Excellent oral presentation skills.
Must be self-motivated and have a passion for imaging technologies.

Desirable:
Knowledge of CMOS device processing.
Knowledge of an analytical software application such as Matlab or SAS.
Digital or analog ASIC design exp.
Hardware design exp.

Education:
BS (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computing Science, a Physical Science, Mathematics or a related discipline. MS preferred.
