Ruby on Rails Developer

CafePress is looking for Ruby Developers with a passion for test and behavior driven development practices for our San Mateo office. This is an opportunity to work in small teams of skilled, creative developers who understand the value of writing clean, test driven code. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will play a central role in the design, development and delivery of a wide range of web applications. We also encourage our developers to contribute to the technology community through speaking, writing and participating in open source projects. We are always exploring new technologies, tools and techniques - such as NoSQL databases, test driven development and public cloud deployments - and want you to do the same. Continually learning, adopting and inventing new tools and techniques is a requirement for success.

You should be skilled in many of following areas:

* 2+ years of Ruby on Rails development
* Knowledge of web stack technologies such as MySQL, jQuery, HTML/CSS
* Unit testing: TestUnit, RSpec
* Automated Integration: Cucumber, Webrat, Capybara, Selenium
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Some Unix or Linux experience
* Computer Science or equivalent degree
