Position Title: ASP.Net Web Application Developer
Location: Westlake, TX

Max Pay Rate: DOE
Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
Experience: 6+ years of experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems
Knowledge/Skills: In-depth knowledge of software, documentation, utilities and program scripts, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
The Project is a series of ASP.Net Web-Forms.
Codebase: VB.Net 2.0
Backend: SQL Server 2005 database
Development is done in Visual Studio 2010.
Basic requirements are as follows.
Excellent Proficiency in HTML and CSS markup
Proficiency with VB.Net 2.0 and above
Knowledge of ASP.Net Page Life Cycle
Basic knowledge of HTTP / FTP
Experience with Telerik RAD Controls for ASP.NET AJAX (version 2.0) required
Experience with jQuery and Javascript
Proficiency with SQL Server 2005 – required abilities include editing T-SQL queries and Stored Procedures
Modifying Database Schema as required
Strong problem solving skills and knowledge of debugging in Visual Studio 2010
Good communication skills, work well under pressure, meet deadlines.
Job candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a backup of the Web Project folder and
SQL Server T-SQL (code) and documenting all bug fixes and changes to the Web-Form Project.
Code Commenting is also desired – this will be described to the candidate that takes this position.
'Nice to have' Microsoft Certifications, experience coding in C# & LINQ
3-5 years working with ASP.net, Visual Studio 2005 / 2008.
