[KITlist-Tech] CONTR: Network Security, Product Manager (Anywhere in USA)

We are looking for a seasoned Network Security Product Manager for a contract opportunity at a global networking leader. This is a primarily an inbound product management role for networking security certification training programs.

The project would include the following tasks: Market landscape analysis, customer needs analysis, certification portfolio roadmap development, new certification course offerings definition, course development with content team, and certification launch activities.

This is a 6 month, 40 hour per week, (with renewals likely) project as a w2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Contractor can be located anywhere in the US.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Network Security certification portfolio planning, market segmentation, segment attribute identification, roadmap planning
• Understand security technology trends and security products in order to define the appropriate certification program and courses.
• Define market requirements, use cases, user profiles through direct customer interaction, market research, competitive analysis, and by working with the sales force and partners.
• Communicate and refine those requirements with content development team, and successfully guide course design, development, and testing.
• In collaboration with marketing, prepare and execute on go-to-market plans, including positioning, pricing, sales training, and marketing.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

• 2 - 4 years of prior experience in product management for networking/security products, or related technical marketing experience
• 4 years of networking/security technology experience
• Demonstrated success leading large, multi-discipline projects with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
• BS/BA required, MBA preferred
