Job Description:
The Product Manager will play a decisive role in the company of matching Intacct solution functionality with customer needs. A successful candidate will be customer focused, working to ensure that the solutions delight the customers and make a positive and material difference to their productivity and cost. Working across Marketing, Sales and Support, you will translate customer requirements into solution features and create functional specifications for development by Engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
• Identify accounting and financial management related business processes in the market to provide competitive solutions within the Intacct platform.
• Generate the differentiating messages to the identified target markets to assist the marketing organization in the preparation of product data sheets, collateral and product related PR events.
• Write detailed requirement documents that are necessary for the engineering organization to implement new Intacct offerings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful launch of solutions through training, support and marketing efforts.
• Analyze Intacct solution against key competitors in order to provide business process maps for Intacct offerings, provide competitive analysis to the sales organization, and incorporate findings into the corporate product roadmap.
Job Requirements:
• A degree in Business and/or technology with 7 to 10 years hands on experience in product management.
• A person who has successfully held key product management role in a company delivering business applications
• Must have direct product management experience in a recognizable applications company.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leading personality to bring people from different departments together towards a common objective.
• Direct experience in past employment positions as a Product Manager of a SaaS (software as a service) type application/solution is a BIG PLUS.
