As Network Engineer, you will be responsible for demonstrating a strong understanding and substantive experience with network and network security architecture. In addition, you will be responsible for verifying technical solutions to deliver business value in line with company objectives. You will also present a proven record of technical expertise and ability to work in team environment, including both internal and external resources. You will add value by:
* Installing, configuring and managing firewalls and IDS/IPS systems
* Installing, configuring and managing wireless controllers, wireless access points and product heat maps
* Installing, configuring and managing software systems that support the network infrastructure such as network monitoring systems and log monitors
* Researching and designing new networking solutions based on given requirements
* Monitoring and troubleshooting network errors and performance problems
* Researching and evaluating new tools that enhance operation of the network
* Documenting procedures and changes
* Participating in monthly after-hours network maintenance windows
* Providing knowledge transfer among team members
* Participating in an on call rotation support system
* Performing other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
What we need from you:
* Bachelor´s Degree in an IT related field and/or 6-8 years of hands on experience with the specific technologies related to Firewall/VPN, IPS and Load balancing

* Mobile experience for troubleshooting
* Knowledgeable about security scanning, processes, documentation and reporting
* Experience with Firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS support as it relates to packetized audio/video technologies
* Network security audits and vulnerability assessments
* Experience implementing security through Access control Lists and Firewalls
* Experience with SNMP and network management software
* Strong Familiarity with TCP and UDP protocols, analyzing packet traces
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
* Familiarity with the installation and support of telecommunications circuits Firewall/VPN

* VMware and SAN troubleshooting (from a network perspective)
