Position : Programmer Analyst -3
Number of positions : 2
Location : Seattle, WA
Duration : 8+ months
Description & Role:
• Client is working on the next release of our Electronic Health Records and Medical Practice Management applications and need to maximize our development velocity. In this position, you will join an Agile team responsible for the maintenance and modification of code developed for enhancements and/or new features.
• The ideal candidate will be an problem solver and creative thinker
• Possess a healthy mix of experience with C/C++ and C#; and be comfortable working in existing code.
• Prior experience working as part of an Agile Scrum or Kanban team is desired.
Required skills & Experience:
• BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
• C# and C/C++, with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts.
• Experience developing for Windows OS, with MS development tools (specifically VS.NET), and with source control and task tracking tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, quick to get up to speed with existing code, able to work effectively on multiple tasks.
• Familiar with XML/XSLT, batch-scripting, code generation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with VB6, Oracle and MS-SQL a plus.
