Our Client, a multibillion dollar software provider of business and financial management solutions for small and mid-sized businesses is seeking Sr. Java Developer with Hadoop and Visualization experience for a 3 month contract with possible extensions

Duration: 3 months contract with possible extension
Job Type: Contract

You will succeed in this role by engineering and innovating new ways to deliver value to external and internal clients by understanding the group's online marketing needs. The position will be based in Menlo Park, CA

Requirements:

- Solid experience with Java programming
- Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce programming on multi-terabyte datasets.
- Visualization experience using JavaScript or other visualization tools

Good to have:
- Experience working on Amazon elastic cloud or Elastic MapReduce environments
- Experience with Pig or Hive programming
