HR Systems Analyst needed for Part Time Consulting Project, 20 hrs / week. (at least 4 days per week or 4-5 hours per day)
Our Client´s HRIS team is searching for a temporary part-time (contract) HR Systems Analyst to participate on the Kenexa BrassRing and Kenexa OnBoard implementation projects. We are seeking a customer-focused and results-oriented Systems Analyst with Kenexa (and other recruiting system / ERP experience), to participate in all aspects of the project including discovery/requirements gathering, design, configuration, test coordination/testing, data extract/load, documentation, training, etc. Reporting to the Sr Manager HR Systems (Project Manager), the HR Systems Analyst will act as a key HRIS resource on the project.
Responsibilities
The HR Systems Analyst may participate in any/all of the following activities, as assigned by the Project Manager:
•Participate in, and/or lead group brainstorming and requirements gathering sessions; drive stakeholder groups through system design decision making process
•Develop high quality documentation throughout the project, including capturing design decisions, system configuration, processes/workflow, data extract/load procedures, integration/interface requirements, etc.
•Complete hands-on system configuration (may include table data entry, forms, email templates, etc)
•Support development of the end-to-end testing strategy, identify the appropriate testers, define entry and exit criteria; write test scripts/cases using standard templates
•Act as Test Manager during testing cycles including ensuring testers are prepared for the test cycle, monitor test execution, roll up and report test results, bug/issue escalation, etc.
•Design and develop end-user and systems documentation and training course materials
•May participate in the scheduling/coordination of training classes
•Participate in the extract of recruiting data (reqs, contacts, candidates) from legacy systems; scrub/audit/format and prepare data for loading into Kenexa
•Based on stakeholder requirements, design and develop Kenexa reports, metrics and dashboards; write Excel Macros (for data extract re-formatting in Excel)
•Participate in the requirements gathering, design, and testing of Kenexa-Workday integrations (including inbound foundational data feed from Workday, and outbound transfer of new hire data to Workday)
•Provide input into the development of the Kenexa post go-live support strategy based on previous Kenexa support experience
•Recommend internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity of systems post go-live
•Escalate any project deliverable or stakeholder issues promptly to the Project Manager, and follow issues through to resolution (including stakeholder communications as needed)
•Along with the Project Manager, co-manage the Action/Issues Tracker and follow up on overdue project deliverables; help manage information on SharePoint site / project site maintenance
•Attend and participate in Project Team meetings (weekly/daily – to be scheduled)
•Provide other project management support to the Project Manager as requested.
Position Requirements
•B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area
•Experience in HRIS function working with ERP or niche HR systems
•Must have 2+ years Kenexa BrassRing and/or Kenexa OnBoard implementation project experience
•Kenexa system administration/systems support experience (post go-live) strongly preferred
•Experience with Trovix, or other recruiting systems considered an asset
•Knowledge/experience with any of the following: Workday, Oracle HR/Oracle Discoverer, Excel Macros or Access queries an asset
•Experience using MS Project and MS Visio software
•Must excel at leading group brainstorming and requirements gathering sessions, with a participatory focus and ability to drive decision making
•Must have a positive, energetic attitude and strong desire to provide excellence in stakeholder engagement / change management
•Must be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels to provide timely response to issues and questions
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are a must; able to think through a challenge end-to-end to devise alternative solutions or workarounds to resolve the issue
•Must thrive in a fast paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary; strong organizational skills required
•Must be a self-starter, independent, team-player, proactive
•Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints
