mFoundry needs a talented Production Specialist to work on our product development team. The Mobile Production Specialist is responsible for providing graphic and technical production, asset management and documentation assistance to the product development team. The Production Specialist also takes an active role in defining and managing the development of graphic and presentation related features within the mobile banking platform. The position requires an attention to detail, an ability to execute, and a keen interest in mobile devices, mobile trends and mobile visual standards. Ideal candidates have 2 to 3 years of technical production, graphic and product management experience within a consumer software or product organization.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and optimize existing screen/user flows for improved usability and expanded functionality.
• Document new or expanded screen flows, business rules, and other associated product documentation.
• Assist with new product development and research for new or complementary products areas.
• Support the sales and client services teams through development of additional product documentation, demos or other product collateral.
• Help maintain the product backlog. Participate in the identification, prioritization and functional specification of new features, enhancements and improvements.
• Form a strong perspective on the mobile financial services marketplace. Competitive analysis, complementary service offerings, etc.
• Form a strong perspective on the overall mobile applications marketplace. Review new to market phone applications for: overall utility/customer value, ease of use, UI paradigms, etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communicator. Responsible for internal communication of product features to the cross-functional product development team. Responsible for external communications to partners and prospects. Product documentation must be of high quality and written with a goal of re-use for both internal and external audiences.
• Strong visual communication skills. Experience creating Photoshop mockups, wireframes and flow diagrams. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Prior experience in retail financial services and/or mobile phone software development is preferred, but not required.
