Job Description:
Our client is supplying consultants to a CUSTOMER in Portland, OR. We are seeking consultants with any of the skills listed below. There are multiple openings. If you have ANY of these particular skills, please contact me.
Streaming Use cases enabling on CUSTOMER platform with MeeGo and Android –
HTTP and RTP streaming support for MeeGo using open source components and Intel proprietary components for specific Audio and Video codecs.
HTTP and RTP streaming for Android on CUSTOMER platform for specific Audio and Video codecs
E2E streaming Media support for various codecs on MeeGo and Android
Modifications as needed in the open source components and support/sustaining
Pushing changes in the open source component back to the community
Validation of these components
RTP Codecs – H.264, MPEG-4:2, WMV, VC-1, MP3, AAC-LC, HE-AACv1/v2, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, G.XXX set of codecs
Containers for HTTP and RTP – 3GP, MP4, AVI, MKV, ASF (there may be move after this)
DRM resources to work at CUSTOMER immediately to accelerate OMA DRM implementation.
Need: Video expert with OpenMax IL and Open Core framework to make modifications in the CUSTOMER developed components.
This requires someone with good understanding of dynamic bit rate adjustments
I Frame generation
Error reporting to OpenMax IL client
Need: expert in DLNA/UPnP open source stack, and make it work on CUSTOMER platform.
Open source DLNA 1.5 and UPnP stack for MeeGo
CTS compliance
UPnP A/V support using open source components
Making sure this stack works on MeeGo
Validation of E2E stack as M-DMS and M-DMP (Device would be M-DMS and M-DMP)
