Job Description:
You will be responsible for Linux and Windows system administration, including firewalls, OS installs/upgrades, provisioning hardware and Xen based virtual Linux servers, configuring services such as DRDB, MySQL, SQL Server, Exchange, LVM, Exchange, and SMTP.
Job Requirements:
Intelligence, deep familiarity with Linux and familiarity with Windows.
Good judgment, capacity to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimum course of action
Excellent troubleshooting and logical abilities
Conscientious and responsible individual who can work effectively when crises occur
Strong organizational and communication skills
Initiative in seeking ways to contribute to the success of the company that go beyond a narrow definition of job responsibilities
Experience with database concepts and web based technologies is a plus
Ability to drive to our local co-location facility when needed
