Requirements:

The primary requirements for the position of Senior Infrastructure Architect/Consultant are:

* B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or related field
* Five or more years of experience in relevant architecture experience
* Advanced level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, infrastructure, systems design and integration
* Expert knowledge of operating systems and security in Windows and UNIX (Solaris, Linux).
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies that support enterprise level systems such as SQL Server, .Net, ASP, Visual Basic, C#.Net, SharePoint, Exchange, .Active Directory, .Net Framework, and Windows server platforms.
* Experience with networking (LAN/WAN), Application and web Servers (IIS, Apache, etc), CISCO routers.
* Solid experience deploying and implementing enterprise systems.
* Project management/leadership experience.
* Demonstrates the ability to take significant responsibility and shows skill in the management of change and can handle contacts of most types and at most levels
* Is familiar with the principles and practices involved in development and maintenance and in service delivery
* Have sound and broad business knowledge and an understanding of current and emerging information and communications technologies and of how they can support and enhance the functions of the business
* Possess knowledge and experience in design factors (such as: algorithmic construction and testing, usability, including UI, design and testing, performance specification and testing, configuration management, database design and optimization, complexity hiding, application programming interfaces, low level hardware function with regard to software development, mainstream microcomputer programming languages, operating systems design, operation and optimization, communication protocols such as TCP/IP, data exchange methods, web services, etc.
* Proven people skills that permit the architect to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of personnel, but especially with technical personnel. The level of skill and experience must be substantive enough to inspire confidence and consensus among varying views
* The ability to write technically in a professional manner and in a style that can be understood by the user and technical staff.
