Responsibilities:
As a Professional Services Integration Engineer on our team, you will be working with our account management team to drive the growth of adap.tv. In this role, you will serve as the technical expert to clients and prospective clients. We are looking for someone with a technical background, preferably with experience with Web and Flash player development in the video advertising industry. The position requires excellent technical and communication skills and familiarity with emerging media and platforms. Our ideal candidates love learning new things, solving hard problems, and are highly motivated to deliver exceptional service. Client Services/Professional Services/Consulting experience is helpful.

• Maintain a high level of proficiency in adap.tv products, processes, and technologies.
• Develop, and assist Customers with the development of Flash player integrations with adap.tv's OneSource platform.
• Develop integration plug-ins to connect ad sources to the OneSource platform.
• Troubleshoot integration issues involving HTML, Flash, Javascript, and other web technologies
• Participate in pre-sales activities (sales calls and visits)
• Serve as a technical point of escalation for our account managers
• Work closely with our business development and partnerships teams to provide excellent technical and functional insight
• Provide technical training to clients on the adap.tv service offering
• Develop and maintain adap.tv technical documentation
• Develop sales and account management tools as needed

Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience; MS a plus
• 2+ years experience working with web technologies including HTTP, HTML, Javascript, Flash, XML, etc.
• Aptitude for, and interest in mastering new applications and platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to interact with clients, engineers, business analysts
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with project management

JOB OPENING: Database Build Engineer
LOCATION: Venice, CA

Position Summary:
Digital Domain is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain multiple software systems. These systems control how artists find, use and transfer their data. Some involve databases, and some need to be migrated to databases. The position involves supporting both Windows and Linux systems in a high-availability, multi-site environment. Most of the work is in python, but the ability to compile and install proprietary and open-source packages is required. This work will be done in small teams, often across site boundaries. This software environment is fast paced and varied, with customers located onsite or in other locations; given that, strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific tasks will change over time, but you can include the following:
• Design and development work on applications which are PyQt interfaces connected to MySQL or PostGres databases.
•&#61472;Design and development work on python and PyQt applications which do not have database backends, but which should be migrated to new architectures involving databases.
•&#61472;Database management of servers both local and remote. Responsible for ensuring data transfer and integrity between sites.
•&#61472;Building, packaging and installing open-source packages for both Linux and Windows
•&#61472;Design, implementation, and maintenance of in-house pipeline and production support tools; setup and maintenance of build environments, release structures and coding standards to be used within the Digital Domain Software Department.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
•&#61472;4+ years Python programming experience.
•&#61472;4+ years of SQL Database experience - MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc
•&#61472;Experience with web servers and web server frameworks
•&#61472;2+ years Windows or Mac development at leading software company

Responsibilities:

As a software engineer at adap.tv, you will be working to design and build infrastructure, middle-ware and partner-facing applications with significant complexity. You will apply your deep knowledge of programming, application design, and the latest off the shelf tools and frameworks to develop systems that are scalable and maintainable. You will combine best practices with flexibility to rapidly deliver new functionality as part of our agile development process. Best of all, you will work with and learn from a team of talented and experienced engineers.

Requirements:
• BS/MS in computer science or related field
• Strong fundamentals in computer science, including algorithms, data structures, and OOP
• Excellent design and problem-solving skills
• Experience developing multi-threaded, high performance, distributed applications
• Experience developing complex applications in Java
• Strong understanding and experience working with databases such as MySQL, frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate
• Experience with Unix/Linux utilities, including shell/perl scripting
• Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails a plus
• Flexible, creative, and collaborative attitude
• Experience working in incredibly fast paced environments, preferably with agile development methodology
• Experience with large scale web application or building data reporting tools a plus.

Job Description
Oversee migration activity of storage hosts with technical project teams. This will require working nights and weekends to support the migration efforts.

Location: Lewisville TX ( a few days in the office and other days can work at home)

Specific duties include but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with business and technical resources to ensure that the strategy, planning and delivery approach will achieve the desired end results.
• Manage project teams to achieve department goals for customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for managing cost and schedule through all phases from inception to completion
• Perform Risk/Issue assessment, tracking, resolution and escalation to ensure project delivery
• Deliver to plans/budget and resolve day-to-day project issues
• Work with technical staff, Corporate IT Project Delivery, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective and timely execution of projects
Requirements
• 7+ years experience in managing, controlling, and executing technical project efforts
• Understanding of Data Center infrastructure and systems which include storage, network, servers, telecom, etc.
• A substantial track record of successfully delivering programs and/or multiple projects on-time and within budget that provide the agreed upon scope to meet the business goals
• Must be a self-starter & have excellent time management skills with the ability to balance priorities and work well under schedule pressures
• Must be detail oriented
• EMC Storage experience a plus
• Willing to work nights and weekends as needed
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft suite of tools including MS Project
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Effective communication skills
• ITIL v3 knowledge a plus
• Familiarity with CA-Clarity a plus
• PMP preferred

Education
• 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
