Junior RF System Integration Engineer Automated Test Specialist

Job Description

Candidate will develop and optimize RF design validation systems used on our For-tune 100 Client's newest products including iPhones, iPods and others. Candidate will contribute to a multi-facetted validation software suite based on C. Candidate will interpret wireless standards documents to develop automated validation solu-tions. Furthermore, the candidate will analyze validation results in conjunction with RF design and validation teams to identify and root cause issues.

Experience Requirements

•recent experience developing new software applications or drivers on any plat-form

•recent experience with current and upcoming wireless RF standards (e.g. 3GPP, GSM, WCDMA, UMTS, WiFi (802.11), Bluetooth, others)

•programming against extensible software program architectures

•implementing cellular and non-cellular RF design validation ATE systems

•1-2 years experience

Skill Requirements

Candidate should have:

•excellent fundamentals and work experience programming in one or more of C, C++, Objective-C

•knowledge of RF validation requirements of relevant radio standards

•knowledge of RF lab equipment including: base station simulators, power sen-sors, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, switch controllers, combiners

•knowledge of basic lab equipment including: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, protocol analyzers

•energy and drive to thrive in a start-up like environment

•ability to write and maintain scripts in one or more of these languages: PERL, Ruby or Python

•knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, scalable software design principles, regression test methodologies are all a plus

•familiarity with LabWindows/CVI is a plus
