Move is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer for the development and maintenance of web applications, tools and/or dashboards to join our Campbell, California team.
The tools and dashboards that are built will be used to support engineering, QA and/or the business intelligence groups. You will be part of an up and coming company with high potential growth and current profitability.
In this critical role in the Technology organization, you will report to the Senior Manager of Tools & Metrics and be responsible for the development and maintenance of internal intranet software as well as tools and dashboards. The software you build will be utilized by engineering teams as well as the business intelligence groups. You will be part of an up and coming company with high potential growth and current profitability.
In this role you will help architect and build new applications as well as integrate and extend existing legacy applications. Your innovative engineering will change the game for our business and ensure delivery of excellent and productive tools for our internal customers.
Responsibilities include writing great, tested code as well as researching new technologies and intuitively knowing how and when to apply those new technologies and techniques to improve our products.

Candidate must have a proven track record of successful, real-world creation of web applications using multiple language/technology stacks. .NET experience is particularly important for legacy needs. J2EE and/or Ruby on Rails knowledge is preferred. The ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of CSS, HTML, XML and JavaScript as well.
You have a strong background in object-oriented development and design, SQL, relational database design and operation. You have experience with the configuration, operation, maintenance, administration, and performance tuning of web application infrastructures (e.g., installing and configuring software, automated start-up scripts, apache web server configuration, automated log file rotation)
Qualifications
* BSCS or related; MSCS preferred.
* 7+ years experience in building software in a fast-paced environment
* 4+ years experience with .NET stack (C#/ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server, Visual Studio)
* Practical (real-world) experience with a second technology stack such as J2EE and/or Ruby on Rails
* Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit/NUnit/xUnit
* Comfortable using a configuration management tool (TFS experience a plus)
* Development experience with SOA preferred
* Expertise in UI Frameworks such as Flex, AJAX, JSF, YUI is desirable
* A "passion for tools" is highly desirable
* Occasional travel may be required
