Location : San Jose, CA
Duration : 6 months – 1year

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• At least 5 years of experience in managing large size operations / infrastructure projects
• PMP certification is desirable
• Experience with leading the team of infrastructure architects, DBAs
• and Systems Administrators
• Knowledge of data center planning, database planning, database migration, upgrades, disaster recovery planning, cutover planning and hardware / server capacity planning
• Knowledge of various backup and recovery solutions
• Experience in project managing large-scale and enterprise projects required. Prefer experience with large Internet, web-based projects.
• Experience in problem solving, process improvement methods, and business re-engineering methodologies
• Proven track record in process definition and improvement initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management process; knowledge of project management software tools, templates and management techniques.
• Advocate of project management discipline and practices, Project Management Office experience a plus.
• Ability to work with and communicate to teams to create and modify project plans and resource schedules.
• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills required.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and plans.
• Experience in gathering requirements from users and facilitating the creation of technical requirements and specifications.
• In-depth experience with MS Project to build and maintain project plans.
• Demonstrated attention to detail through project management related work. Tracking and attention to detail are critical in this role.
• Able to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Keen to learn and adopt new technology and principles.
• Superb analytical skills: both technical and process improvement oriented.
• Able to independently drive projects through to completion
• Analytical and have good problem solving skills Ability to achieve project goals in a fast paced environment with multiple conflicting
• priorities
