Position: BA/PM
Length of contract: 6+ months
Location: San Jose, CA
1. Drive the entitlement tracks of all FY11 Data Center projects (Call-to-Repair, Disk Media Retention, TS Warranty Enhancements, VCE, VXI/VDI, Smart Monitor)
2. Refine Data Center Entitlement BRD, write business requirements, analyze solution options, and obtain approvals
3. Attend Data Center Project meetings, prepare presentation materials, provide entitlement perspective and submit bi-weekly status
4. Generate metrics and reports from entitlement database
5. Provide updates to Service Entitlement Team about Data Center projects that impact entitlement operations
6. Provide NPI updates to Entitlement Innovation Team
7. Actively collaborate with Entitlement Framework (EF) team by providing Data Center business requirements and use cases, and understanding entitlement framework capabilities
8. Support Entitlement Framework Proof-of-Concept (PoCs), when necessary Requirements
1. Excellent analytical skills and broad business knowledge
2. Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
3. In-depth knowledge of Product/ Service Lifecycle (PLC) and product development
4. Familiarity with IT systems and technologies
5. 5+ years of work experience in high tech industry in a Business Analyst role
6 Prior data center experience is a plus
7. Prior Cisco experience, especially in service operations, is a plus
