We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will work with our PLATFORM team:
*Work with a smart team of developers around the world to solve complex distributed and scale-out problems
*Design and develop the next generation of low-latency, fault-tolerant enterprise scale-out systems
*Identify bottlenecks and performance tune the software to leverage a wide variety of deployment hardware
*Work with support engineers and the open source community to solve any end-user issues

Requirements:
We´re looking for smart people who have a strong OO design sense; can solve multi-threaded, asynchronous, and distributed systems problems with ease; understand issues around fault-tolerance and scale-out; love to code and code well; work well on a team and individually.
*BS in Computer Science
*Strong software engineering fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, etc.)
*Strong Java skills
*System-level programming
*TCP/IP network programming, Java NIO
*JUNIT experience
*Experiences with the following technologies are desired: Cloud tools - Distributed caches, scale out and high availability softwares and frameworks - Implementation of Database or storage engines
*Good understanding of and experience building concurrent data structures and multi-threaded java applications
*Willingness to learn and the ability to excel in a fast-paced development environment
Qualities that give you an edge:
*Messaging background
*MS/PhD in Computer Science
*Prior experience with any distributed system
