Position: UCM Developers
Duration: 6 months plus
Rate: Market (Best competitive)
Start Date: 1 Week

The UCM Integration Developer is the primary developer and SME for all conversion and integration efforts required in support of the Oracle Customer Hub platform. The UCM Integration Developer will be responsible for developing, testing and deploying several interfaces integrating the Customer Hub with external systems (including both EIM and web services). The UCM Integration Developer will also be responsible for collaborating with resources from other application or middleware teams as well as contractor/vendor resources.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications and corresponding WSDLs/working services
• Utilize development skills to build (code) and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results
• Develop, test and deploy both EIM jobs and web services as necessary to support all integration efforts required for the Customer Hub
• Assist with application support documentation (release notes, build instructions) as required by the application support teams for acceptance of changes into production
• Assist with troubleshooting, triaging and resolving issues discovered during QAT/UAT (testing phases)
• Act as primary Customer Hub SME for driving/providing LOEs (as it relates to integration impacts) as necessary for new project intake, change requests, production issues, etc…
• Facilitate/lead reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications and program code with other members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality and limitations of systems/applications to team and development lead.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Utilize departmental Systems Development Lifecycle Methodology as a guide for development activities.
• Provide on call and after hours support as required for production releases and to respond and provide Tier 1 support on production outages.
• Contribute to and work to meet project schedules by providing accurate estimates of effort required for development deliverables, by providing updates on project progress to development and project management, and by escalating issues that might affect project success to management.
• Maintain technical skills and expertise through continuing education and training.
• Collaborate/Partner with other teams, both internal and external, including 3rd party vendors, Enterprise Testing, Release Planning and Management, Business Systems Analysis, Project Management, and Application Support on successful delivery of systems enhancements.

Desired Experience and Skills:
• 3 – 5 years of demonstrated expertise in Siebel or Siebel UCM (7.x & 8.x)
• 2 – 4 years of demonstrated experience in Siebel or Siebel UCM integration
• Proficiency in understanding of Siebel data model and experience in data mapping
• Experience with EAI version 8.0 and above (including Integration Objects, Siebel´s various transports, its Data transformation Engine, Siebel Web Services, External Business Components (EBC) and Virtual Business Components (VBC)
• Previous experience with TIBCO, Weblogic, Fusion Middleware, AIA, etc… a plus
• Experience in EIM including Data Mapping of Legacy Tables to Siebel Tables, Data Cleansing, SQL Scripts, IFB scripts, Performance Tuning and EIM execution
• Working knowledge in Siebel data model and relational database with IBM OS400 AIX and Oracle DB ver 10g and above
• Experience integrating with SOA services to both send and receive data
• 4 year degree (Computer Science, MIS preferred) or equivalent 7 years of experience.
