DESCRIPTION
We need a Network Consulting Engineer to join an Emerging Solutions Group with some of the industry´s brightest minds in developing and deploying today´s most advanced Vertical Solutions (Healthcare) in the Data Center environment. In this role, you will gain insight on the products, services and solutions with strategic customers and partners with all distributed elements of the service chain.
The ideal candidate demonstrates an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, and applying this to provide solutions in vertical healthcare solutions (Healthcare Services Exchange - HSX) inside a number of Cloud Data Center infrastructures.
Area of responsibility will include assisting development partners and Alpha/Beta customers to resolve network/connectivity/VPN type of issues, on-site or remotely. This candidate will also have the opportunity to work with our development team to understand Cloud-based software stacks and its related services components.

In this role you will troubleshoot and triage technical issues for HSX Healthcare Services Cloud Solutions (service cloud) with a backend Data Center with a number of net new end-points focusing on Application environments.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Typically requires BS in CS or EE or equivalent plus 7 years of Application Development Experience
1. Require Working Knowledge with Infrastructure such as Virtualization, Portal/App/Proxy servers
2. Database knowledge Oracle 11g, LDAP , Apache Tomcat, JRE, Python, GNU environments
3. Extensive experience in BPM, BPEL, BPMN, SOAP, Web services and Enterprise Application Integration knowledge is required
4. Good core Java skills with J2EE/Spring Framework and web application development highly desirable
5. Solid experience in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl highly desirable
6. Java XML (SAX/DOM, XPath, SOAP, REST web services) highly desirable
7. Experience in Enterprise RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL), SQL, JDBC required
8. Good understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns required
9. Experience in multi-threaded and event based programming desirable
10. Experience in middle tier technologies: EJB, JMS, BPM, Rules and XML required
11. Extensive experience in Linux and VMWare target environment required
12. Experience in Unified Communications and collaboration technologies (IM, video, voice) and protocols (XMPP, SIP, RTMP) highly desirable
13. Experience in web tier technologies required: JSP, JavaScript/CSS/HTML, Flex, AJAX, GWT
14. Experience with Linux and Windows OS multi-platform based development required
15. Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills required
16. Ability to work w Release Engineering to maintain change control process to incorporate customer release/bug fix into a separate or joint future maintenance software release.
17. Require to interface with customer projects with Good verbal and written communication skills required
18. Past customer facing project experience and service Integration Experience Required
19. Ability to do rapid prototyping to demonstrate via mark-up or with limited integration of customers business applications and Platform Solutions.
***Prior customer support experience is preferred***
Deliverables:
Working with customer and Field Application Engineer / Solution Architect to develop software to connect between the platform software (HSX/VSX) to customers business applications (Healthcare). Working with Solution Architect to convert from conceptual architecture / design to software that connect between applications. Ability to provide rapid prototyping of mark-ups for illustrations purposes before larger system level software is being developed.
Working with Alpha/Beta early customer adoption to deploy secure cloud-based appliance connecting backend applications to federated data center(s). Working with Services team and Engineering team to design, architect and document new service activation. Document service deployment plans with templates, workflows and document all repeatable methodologies to drive service automation.

Very strong problem solving skills, and ability to determine root cause and resolution. Ability to drive recreates remotely--Many issues result in the engineer needing to perform a recreate of the customer problem in order to isolate the issue and resolve.

Strong teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional team(s)
Travel required: 10-15%
