Software Developer – Image Processing
Location: Menlo Park, Ca
Educational Requirements: BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
Work Experience: 4+ yrs (BS), 2+ yrs (MS/Phd).
Skills:
• Deep knowledge & understanding of C++, image processing (ITK), medical image visualization (VTK/OpenGL), process optimization, & object-oriented design on 64bit windows application platform (MFC). Additional skill set in C#/.net a plus.
• Prior exp with the development of medical software/systems in a regulated environment.
• Strong working knowledge of modern software development tools including bug tracking systems, source code revision control, and automated testing and code optimization required.
Overall job description:
This position is for an individual contributor whose primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test and deploy software related to the advanced image processing of medical data needed for the company service. The candidate will be responsible for the development of user facing applications on the Windows platform as well as automated algorithms running in a Linux environment. In addition to performing the primary development activities listed above, the candidate may be responsible for general bug fixing, enhancements, test suite development, user support and participation in all other activities defined in the company's product development process and as requested by their manager.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Intellectual ownership and specific responsibility related to design, development, testing & deployment of company's advanced image processing workstation.
2. Intellectual ownership and specific responsibility related to the design, development, testing and delivery of integration of the image processing algorithms into the company production workflow.
3. Design, development, integration, testing & maintenance of specific service and monitoring interfaces and functionality for all components associated with the image processing algorithms & integration.
4. Adherence to & active participation in the continuous development & improvement of all engineering team quality policies & processes
