Looking for Mashup of a Marketer

A Product Marketing Manager "at heart" with a flair for Marcom who's lived and breathed the world of fast-paced, rapidly growing, everyone-wears-multiple-hats Internet Company. You'll be working with a talented team that's passionate about marketing, passionate about APIs, and where there's already great momentum to build upon.

For the seasoned Product Marketing professional, this would be an outstanding opportunity for someone with a proven track record of outbound marketing success to architect the messaging, positioning and go-to market strategy for our groundbreaking API management solution.

Your experience navigating the spectrum of Product Marketing responsibilities from strategy, positioning and to more tactical collateral development and product rollout will give you the foundation needed to succeed in this multi-faceted and challenging role. Our fast-paced environment is a greenfield opportunity to engage all of your expertise and to have a significant impact on the future of Mashery and the industry at large. Qualified candidates will be highly articulate, analytical, have an understanding of networking and web technologies, know what it truly means to be a team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Work with product and executive teams to establish roadmap (create and own MRDs as required)
* Interface with key analyst firms on presenting product, positioning, running of strategy sessions
* Define and create materials for Sales Support (demos, collateral, social media content, training tools); oversee production of collateral in conjunction with Marcom or outside designers including case studies, whitepapers, website content, etc. (if you can produce some of it yourself even better)
* Market Segmentation- Identify sales cycle influencers, market characteristics, and key verticals. Provide supporting market research & data
* Help to identify key eco-system partners
* Support lead gen and marketing programs with content and messaging for target audiences
* Own product go-to-market strategy & execution of such strategy for product launches and rollouts
* Support field requests with public speaking, evangelism, demos
* Creation of and positioning of solutions

Desired Traits

* Willing, able and excited about working in a sometimes chaotic (organized chaos), always rewarding environment, with the potential to have a tremendous impact
* You "show up" (not just physically) and you come to "win"
* Effective time management, prioritization skills
* You play nice with others and people want to work with you
* You think strategically but you can execute at a tactical level

Required Experience

* 7-10 years experience in enterprise marketing technology preferably in one or more of the following fields: SaaS, ecommerce, Internet infrastructure, cloud technologies or digital media
* Exceptional writing and public speaking skills
* MBA preferred
* PowerPoint skills and some graphic design highly desirable but not required
