Senior Business Analyst - HR and Payroll Systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with HR clients and development team to deliver solutions that meet company strategic objectives in a timely fashion.
Work with the client to evaluate the various HR processes
Participate as team member on other company IT initiatives, driving where necessary their adoption within the HR systems area.
Ensure compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Actively engage HR clients throughout the project life cycle, through timely communication and consistent completion of deliverables within communicated timeframes.
Learn the client´s business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in process through technology enhancements.
Partner with HR Functional clients to identify/develop and document business requirements, ensuring that all enterprise stakeholders are identified and cared for.
Lead the requirements analysis, functional solution design, quality assurance, and solution deployment of technology-enabled solutions.
Develop comprehensive QA plans and coordinate thorough testing
Document specification, user manuals, procedures, and other project deliverables.
Coordinate change management activities with other IT functional areas.
Provide production support/problem resolution for employee customers.
Plan and manage small projects.
Education and Experience:
Experience with upgrades of major releases of ERP systems highly desired.
3-4 years experience with the design/development within an ERP system highly desired, preferably with Oracle HR.
3-4 years experience with SQL and report writing.
2-4 years experience with non-ERP HR systems is required.
2-3 years in QA planning, analysis and execution.
Must be detail oriented and quality driven
Minimum bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
Experience implementing or managing data privacy controls is a plus.
Experience with project management including project planning and execution, resource planning, scope control, risk and issue management.
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
