[KITlist-Tech] Senior Developer/Architect (San Francisco, CA)

Please direct your responses to: gretchen@skylinerecruiting.com

Our client, a San Francisco real-time online content organizer recently announced completion of its Series A financing. Proceeds from the financing will be used to invest in the growth of the the technical and product teams and continue to expand and scale verticals. To help them grow their team, we seek exceptionally smart, motivated developers, who can work in PHP, Python and MySQL. We want developers who can work their way around any obstacle and also attend to detail, keeping the bigger picture in view. The ideal candidate will take the initiative to lead the way in complex projects and work with a team, be familiar with group programming, share ideas and learn from others.

This is a senior role. You must be able to work independently and in parallel with the CTO. The current team is fewer than 10 people. You will hit the ground running and have deep knowledge about some components of running a large LAMP web site. You must have experience with large data-bases, high traffic loads and scaling. Your experience managing cross-functional teams is critical (engineering, product analytics, design). As a team leader, you must be able to take the lead architecture role on major projects and help train developers in their roles within a project. You will help suggest technologies and help evaluate those technologies.

Local candidates, pleae.

Thank you,

Gretchen
