Engineer Specialist - Embedded Linux

Overview of Responsibilities

This person will act in a technical supporting role for the sales account team to help ensure that our customers and Wind River are successful by assisting in the technical sales and delivery of Wind River's products and services. This person will continuously support opportunity development and support services delivery activities to sustain and increase Wind River revenue. Additionally, this person will assist Wind River engineering, marketing and services organizations to best meet the immediate and long term technical needs of our customers while continually improving their technical and communication skills.

Detailed Responsibilities
Ø Support Account Teams in defining solutions
Ø Architect, develop, and deliver customized demos and presentations
Ø Develop and review technical content for on line support and training programs.
Ø Technical seminar content creation, review, and delivery
Ø Technically support bounded product evaluations
Ø Deliver onsite consulting, debug assistance, and training
Ø Participate in Process Improvement activities.
Ø Deliver Technical Support Request resolution
Ø Accurately and thoroughly document, post, and promote problem resolutions
Ø Provide meaningful, customer-centric feedback to WR engineering via formal and informal channels.
Ø Seek out services and product opportunities that will enhance customer success, generate revenue, and reduce the overall support burden.

Requirements
Ø BSCS/BSEE Degree, MS preferred, plus five years of experience minimum
Ø Wind River product and industry expertise
Ø Technical experience should include low level device driver and BSP development especially with embedded Linux and RTOSes
Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ø Demonstrated success consulting with customers, resolving complex problems and architecting solutions
