Job Title:- System Admin (Multiple Positions)

- Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, access, backup, and service availability for customer-facing web applications in a 24x7 Operations Center.
- Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications.
- Troubleshoot system issues, resolve or recommend solutions.
- Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures.
- Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades. Able to follow best practices in change management.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot operating systems.
- Must possess solid knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems and networking hardware and software.

Skills
- 3-5 years of experience functioning in a Systems Administrator capacity is required.
- 3-5 years of supporting high-volume customer facing websites in a 24x7 operations environment is recommended.
- Experience with load-balancing architectures and production operations environment is recommended.

Location:- Mountain View, CA
Duration:- 5+ months

You will work closely with our ODM partners to design our next generation of devices. Responsibilities include:

• Research emerging technologies in OS kernel and SOC software designs
• Create early concept designs implementing the kernel and basic peripheral drivers
• Be the in-house expert on OS Kernel implementation

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of software design experience

Our Client Company is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Windows Systems Administrator / Engineer with excellent scripting skills and extensive experience in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. The project involves developing automated processes for email migration projects and supporting Exchange /mail related services and users.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Windows administrator (5+ years preferred)
- Strong PowerShell and VB scripting skills
- Prior experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
- Prior experience with Active Directory and group policies
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP including DNS and subnetting

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• At least 7 years of working experience, with at least 3 years of experience in technical project management.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and team player qualities.
• Excellent business focus and thorough understanding of financial impacts of project decisions.
• Demonstrated project management skill in development projects from conception to product release phase.
• Skilled in Microsoft Project tool for project management use.
• PMP certification a plus.
• Knowledgeable in modern project management methodology; software project management skill is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated team motivational skill is a plus.

Required Skills/Experience:

Our client is looking for an experienced Windows developer to build an application for use with both Windows 7 and Windows 2008.

Job Description:

- Design a Windows program to provide a user-interface to optimize and customize a Windows server running video management software applications.

- Program need to be installable and un-installable by user. On installation, it will perform changes to Windows registry, related to various networking, storage and system setting. Undo changes on un-installation.

- Once installed, the program will run as a service, and will allow user to:
- Display and change Windows parameters such as IP addresses, time, date, timezone
- Display key system information such as CPU and memory, etc.
- Provide interaction with an SAS HBA to expose basic storage RAID management tasks
- Provide interaction with system software to expose environmental information such as board temperature and fan speed
- Provide a simple form based user interface (Web browser or client application based TBD) for user interaction to access the functions provided by the server.

Other program feature enhancements:

- Parse Windows events to provide summary, save and export events logs
- Launch other monitoring programs such as Wireshark for system diagnostic
- Provide interface to call API functions provided by video management software to invoke their functions
- Debug and test the software to full functionality
- Program should work on Windows 7 and Windows 2008

Qualifications/Requirements

- BSCS, MSCS preferred
- Development in Visual Basic and/or C++
- Hardware system, networking and storage knowledge
- First version completion in 4-6 weeks, with enhancement phase in another 4-6 weeks.
