Sr. Software Engineer, Server
San Carlos, CA

Qualifications:

Exceptional problem-solving and coding skills
Demonstrated, hands-on experience developing for Linux and Windows platforms
Proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies
Working knowledge of all aspects of software development lifecycle
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent field
Raw smarts
Several years' experience developing successful commercially available software is a plus, as is proven experience developing massively scalable technologies
Very strong C/C++ coding skills are required for this role
Experience in any of the following areas is desirable: DBMS internals, high performance distributed systems, enterprise search / indexing, storage subsystems, development of programming languages
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or relevant discipline from a leading institution is a plus.
Hands-on experience with XQuery is a plus.
