Release/Build SW Engineer
Description:
We are hiring an experienced configuration/build engineer who can help develop our performance, test, and validation infrastructure. You are someone who gets excited about the challenge of creating and maintaining a solid build infrastructure, automating, visualizing and mining data for hundreds of thousands of test results every dayas well as building a user interface that provides easy and intuitive access to all relevant information. You are familiar with standard build tools, with database design, with building web applications and you are someone who keeps up with the latest technologies – make, Cmake, Ruby, Python, Rails, Jquery are part of your vocabulary. You will work closely with both hardware engineers and software engineers to design, develop, and debug world-class development tools.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or higher degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience working with build and release tools, building web applications and automation experience
- Experience with make, Cmake or equivalent build tools.
- Experience with Ruby, Python, and other modern scripting languages.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries, such as Prototype, Jquery, Ext JS, etc.
- Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
- Good understanding of server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects.
- Deep knowledge of systems automation frameworks and concepts
-Strong Systems Engineering experience required
