Responsibilities:* Support development and execution of Flowserve´s global IT strategy * Support the ongoing evolution of Enterprise Architecture * Formalize subordinate reference architectures and design patterns * Evaluate new technologies for possible integration into the overall architecture * Recommend architecture and standards for various technologies * Review IT project portfolio to assure compliance with global IT architecture * Enterprise awareness of all IT projects * Work with IT managers and other architects to continually develop, refine and enforce the Enterprise Architecture * Analyze current state and desired state of the Enterprise Architecture and assist in developing migration plans * Work with data architects to develop enterprise level logical and physical data models * Review and approve change requests for application interfaces
Required Skills and Experience:
* BS or MS degree in IT, Engineering or Mathematics * Five or more years experience as an enterprise architect * Experience building interfaces to major ERP systems (Oracle or SAP preferred) * Strong SOA, middleware and enterprise service bus experience * Strong engineering and full life cycle software development experience * Strong knowledge and understanding of data architecture, BPM, etc.
* Experience with major business analytics & reporting systems (Business Objects, OBIEE, Cognos or Microsoft reporting tools) * Strong knowledge of infrastructure and hosting environments (network bandwidth utilization, server virtualization & familiarity with different operating systems) * Hands on experience with Business Objects tools a plus * Hands on experience with Microsoft BizTalk a plus * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
