We have an urgent need for multiple Sr. Java developers with the following skills:

- 7 - 9 years of experience in Software Development mainly in client-server (Multi * tier Architecture) applications involving design, development, deployment using Java/J2EE technologies both in Unix/Window Environment.
- Extensive experience in core Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets,Struts, Spring, JSF, Web services, Weblogic application server, JDK 1.5, JNDI, HTML, JSTL and JavaScript.
- Strong and recent experience on Business Rules Engine and Work Flow Engine or Graph Database.
- Extensively worked on the Applications with huge data and able to maintain good performance. Any third party tools used is a definitive advantage.
- User Interface design and build is preferable.
- Good in communication so as to explain to offshore team.
- Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Design(OOA & D) and development, database concepts, mainly in enterprise web applications using J2EE .
- Must Have Deployed applications on J2EE Application servers like Websphere or Apache Tomcat web server.
- Experience in developing n-tier enterprise applications using J2EE.

What you will be doing

Jemstep is looking for a seasoned, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial product management consultant who will be responsible for leading Jemstep's agile development process on an interim basis during a crucial phase of the company's growth. This 3-4 month contract requires an instinct for developing compelling products with a strong focus on users and the technical aptitude to work with a world class engineering team. This position will also be responsible for directing continuous improvement of current functionality.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the ideation, visual design, and initial technical development of a new product line and enhancements to existing products.
• Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
• Engage closely with the engineering team to guide them to the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule in an agile/scrum environment.
• Coordinate with marketing and business development teams to increase customer acquisition.

Requirements:
• BA/BS required. MBA, CFA or PM certification desirable.
• 8+ years product management experience with a track record of building, scaling and managing innovative consumer products and businesses.
• Extensive understanding of financial services and investment strategies.
• Experience as product owner in agile/scrum methodology.
• Effective creative and analytical abilities.
• Enthusiasm for gathering user requirements and converting them into a winning product vision.
• Significant people and organizational management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to evangelize the merits of Jemstep´s products internally and externally.

Web-based Systems Administrator
Tableau Software, a Seattle-based business intelligence software company, is looking for a Web-based Systems Administrator and general SaaS solution integrator to join its Business Systems team. Required Knowledge and Experience

Sr. System Engineer
As our Sr. System Engineer, you will work with our Web Operations team to support our production of SaaS infrastructure. As an expert in systems administration, you'll be exposed to many different kinds of technologies working to blend storage with the next 2.0 SaaS offering.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
+ Monitor and maintain production SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) offering and systems
+ Work in a demanding, fast-paced atmosphere
+ Support Tableau¹s server farm of production Linux servers
+ Create and update installation/procedural documentation
+ Identify and implement system-wide updates and fixes
+ Evaluate and propose new or improved system architecture
+ Tune and optimize existing server and application performance by identifying potential hardware and software enhancements
+ Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software problems, work with vendors as necessary
+ Work closely with an existing team of skilled systems administrators and mentor junior members
+ Participate in the 24/7 rotation and the periodically scheduled production/stage/sandbox maintenance

Required Knowledge and Experience
+ 5+ years experience in Linux/Windows Systems support and administration and providing 24x7 support to production Software-as-a-Service infrastructure
+ Excellent command line Linux/UNIX and Strong Linux problem solving skills

Senior Technical Support Engineer-Enterprise Software
As Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will work primarily with Tableau Software's large server and core server customers proactively helping them with post sales installation, configuration and set up tasks. Part of the regular responsibilities will include triaging and resolving highly complex technical and application related issues that impact product performance in customer-specific environments or issues that directly hamper customer adoption.

This role will be required to ramp up knowledge quickly on Tableau's Desktop and Server Products, including its licensing, activation related installation specifications / settings and configuration requirements to insure optimal product performance. In addition to working with customers the Senior Technical Support Engineer will routinely partner with Tableau Development and Sales Engineering to resolve support issues, document bugs, provide UAT on product builds, ensure that new and newly upgraded server installations are successful. This role interacts with various levels of management throughout the company, with vendors and partners; excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills are a must.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities
+ Collaborate and consult with select server and core server clients to implement successful server launches and resolve highly complex technical issues associated with deployment.
+ Partner with clients and help them optimize the way they use client software
+ Lead support case resolution efforts for prescribed customer cases as needed
+ Extensively research and document customer software and technical issues
+ Collaborate with User Support, Escalation Engineering and Sales Consultants to identify high priority server issues and partner with Development and Quality Engineering teams when required.
+ Assist and mentor User Support Specialists with researching, resolving and documenting customer server issues, including bug reports, etc.
+ Act as the primary technical liaison within between company and the customer during issue resolution
+ Mentor, train and document support processes for server-related technical triage and problem solving skills
+ Escalate support cases and priority issues to management as appropriate.
+ Document program /project records and insure they are properly catalogued in the Customer Experience Wiki, collateral web sites and training collateral as required;

Required Knowledge and Experience
+ Must have experience supporting and troubleshooting commercial software applications.
+ Must have experience supporting enterprise mission-critical applications
+ Strong understanding of relational databases. Experience with Essbase and MSAS Cubes a plus.
+ 2+ years of SQL scripting experience
+ 2+ years of HTML and JavaScript experience

Position description:

Job Title:- Windows System Admin

The client is currently seeking a Lead Windows System Administrator to work in its Sunnyvale, CA headquarters. The Lead will work with existing system/storage administration, network support, and other IT personnel to deal with day-to-day issues and to plan upgrades and other projects. Teamwork is essential in this small group as well with cross-functional teams.

As a Lead Windows System Administrator, you will provide technical management for the System Administrators on staff and vendors/contractors as required.

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide global technical oversight and senior level operational support of Production/QA/Development corporate infrastructures.
• Manage and monitor corporate computing infrastructure operational tasks and issues among Systems Administrators in India and remote all US locations, ensuring high availability.
• Manage and maintain windows servers including but not limited to Microsoft AD, Exchange 2007, Enterprise Vault, MS SQL, OCS, logging/compliance, discovery servers, etc.
• Provide 3rd level escalation support for desktops.
• Plan and coordinate upgrades, maintenance, and installations of existing and new computing infrastructure.
• Manage and support system management and monitoring tools (HP Openview Operations, OVPI, BAC/Sitescope, Server Automation, etc.).
• Manage and execute on projects within the team and cross-functionally.
• Tune system performance.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve issues quickly in a complex IT environment.
• Analyze capacity reports/ system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
• Perform routine audits and capacity planning of systems and software.
• Perform backups.
• Manage data centers world-wide.
• Ensure SOX controls are followed and reports provided on quarterly basis.
• Ensure high availability and security by updating and patching systems.
• Evaluate, pilot, implement, integrate, and roll-out new solutions into existing data center environments.
• Support remote sites' systems needs.
• Participate and support IT Business Application and Customer Services groups' projects besides working on other infrastructure areas.
• Update infrastructure technology strategies by staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Evaluate and manage vendors and contracts within budget.
• Design systems to Business Continuity requirements, ensure run books and system documentation are up-to-date to for support and business continuity needs.
• Provide budgeting input and create purchase requests for projects, maintenance, capital, and expenses.
• Follow policies and procedures including those for ITIL incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Train team, global service desk members, and users as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by manager.
• Be able to respond to issues nights and weekends as needed, requiring carrying PDA 24/7.

Other responsibilities:

• Support NetApp SAN/NAS storage and VMware ESX infrastructure.
• Manage external email gateways.
• Manage backup, print, KVM/terminal servers.

Requirements:

Ability and experience with building highly available, robust, manageable, and secure solutions is a must.

• Strong working knowledge of Windows server administration.
• Strong working knowledge of email administration.
• Strong working knowledge of system performance and capacity management, including MS SQL in physical and virtualized environment.
• Strong working knowledge of VMware ESX environment.
• Strong working knowledge of security and system best practices.
• Working knowledge of enterprise storage infrastructure.
