The Sales Engineer will work with Sales Account Executives on new and existing accounts. Ideal candidates have previous experience working with PSA / project management software, or SaaS solutions, or related applications in a customer facing role, and have the ability to effectively communicate the value of FinancialForce.com's solutions (both functionally and technically) to
prospective customers. This includes the ability to uncover business requirements, develop a solution sales strategy, and create and effectively demonstrate solutions that address customer requirements. This role works in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and
candidates should be able to successfully balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist our account executives in technically qualifying new sales opportunities
Present the FinancialForce Professional Services Automation solution and demonstrate the application via Web conference tools and face to face meetings.
Build and deliver custom product demonstrations which focus on key business drivers and functional requirements for potential customers.
Support Account Executives in production of high quality sales proposals and supporting materials
Maintain all sales cycle activities within the Salesforce.com CRM system in accordance with FinancialForce.com's sales processes and methodology.
Assist with support and ongoing development of FinancialForce.com demonstration environments including examples of custom development and integrations with 3rd party applications.
Experience / skills required:
4+ years experience as a pre-sales engineer for an enterprise PSA / project management, SaaS, or other software application.
Knowledge of working in, or managing a professional services organization, or working on large project teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills including salesforce.com , Google Apps, MS Office, and web presentation tools
Ideal candidate will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and work out of our San Mateo Headquarters.
Ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing custom business applications on the force.com platform.
4 year University Degree required
