Job Responsibilities
The Platform Systems Engineer (electronic hardware) will transition technologies from architectural proposals to implementations which can be employed in shippable products. The work includes understanding and critiquing architectural proposals, implementing (designing, building and testing) hardware designs, developing characterization plans, evaluating characterization results, constructing system models and generating design guidelines.
Required Qualifications
· MSEE or higher, plus 7-10 years of practical hands-on experience with analog and digital electronic engineering
· Good communications skills (oral and written)
· Ability to yield results effectively while operating cross functionally: working with mechanical, layout, firmware, test engineers as well as research department personnel
· Ability to propose, plan, schedule and monitor projects (including coordination of other personnel) effectively
· Experience in research and development strongly desirable
Desired Qualifications
Strong firmware/embedded software design experience.
Good team leadership and mentoring skills.
Aptitude for communicating with customers and expertise in co-development with customers.
