Duties
-The Sr. User Interface Designer will work with several Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to develop a very sophisticated product prototype to showcase the vision of our future development.
-This very exciting project will test the designers ability to design innovative best-of-breed solutions without bounds with a world-class team of product specialists and engineers.
-Responsibilities include contributing to design concepts in a team environment, and then creating functional specifications and presenting them.
-The designer will need to provide optimized design assets (such as HTML/CSS, images, embedded flash objects, etc).
-On a professional level, the designer will be responsible for tracking their progress and meeting milestones.
Skills
-Visual design skills using Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
-User Interaction design Information Architecture Prototyping skills with HTML/CSS and other tools such as Visio, Axure, Balsamiq, etc
Non-required but Helpful Skills:
-Javascript libraries such as EXTJS or JQuery Multi-media skills with Flash, Flex, or other similar tool Software development
Professional Skills
-Ability to brainstorm creative solutions in a team environment
-Ability to present design solutions to a cross functional group and be able to advocate the decisions made
-Ability to work in time efficient ways with attention to detail and adhere to a project timeline (the project has a clear and fixed deadline)
