Description:
Job Title Sr Software Engineer.
Duties
-Senior level position with responsibility to work closely with Client and its partners to integrate and verify OpenCL, OpenGL, and/or DirectX driver level changes to support new hardware architectures or new features for high-performance computing and graphics applications.
-Specific tasks may involve modifying and verifying driver source code, providing reference code to partners and working with them to incorporate equivalent changes into their production code base, debugging problems, performing performance analysis and benchmarking, working with application developers to optimize performance, providing performance analysis reports, and providing feedback to the hardware team for future performance enhancements.
Skills:- ("able to write drivers") ("Open Gl and DirectX a must)
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering related field
- 7+ years of industry experience in OpenGL and/or DirectX graphics driver development and verification
- Strong programming skills in C and C++
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows7
- Familiarity with modern GPU and CPU architectures
- OpenCL and Microsoft Visual Studio experience strongly preferred
- Experience making operating system kernel level changes preferred
- A strong team player; self-motivated and positive attitude
Location:- Sunnyvale CA
Duration:- 1 yr++ (Contract to Hire)
