Job Responsibilities
This position will report to the Director, Silicon Systems Programs in Santa Clara, Ca.
The job responsibilities are as follows:
· Work closely with functional managers in the organization to create product development plans for new products and advanced technology projects
· Work closely with outside customers and Marketing organizations to identify/track customer requirements and communicate status
· Take responsibility for successful execution of assigned programs and driving products to the market.
· Represent the projects on multi-disciplinary projects as a core team member
· Lead project team meetings to track progress and identify/manage risks and resource conflicts and report status of these projects
· Manage headcount and contractor planning in support of business planning processes.
· Assist functional managers on logistical tasks to enable technical team to focus on project execution.
· Manage projects using the companies established development processes and contribute to the refinement of those processes.
Required Qualifications
· Experience in product development process and design flows for advanced mixed-signal integrated circuits
· Experience in working with various functional organizations involved in mixed-signal IC product development such as analog design, digital design, firmware, IC layout, verification, product and test engineering for validation, characterization and qualification activities. Experience in working with outside functions such as design services provides, board suppliers and semiconductor foundries is also beneficial
· The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to accomplish the project goals by inspiring team members to excel without direct management influence by instilling a desire to introduce world class, market-changing products
· BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field such as Computer Engineering or Microelectronic Engineering
· 10+ years of project management experience preferably for product development in technology R&D environment
Desired Qualifications
· Experience in delivering semiconductor products to market.
· Experience with Capacitive touch and/or LCD Displays is highly desired.
· Experience with Mobile Display products, OEM customers, LCM customers and their product development cycles
