Job Title: Global Support Technical IT Support
Duration :- 3 months++
Loc:- Sunnyvale CA
Job Description:
-This position is responsible for providing senior-level Project Management support for IT Support Readiness activities (ensuring that the IT Support organization is ready to support key projects when they are implemented into Production).
-Responsible for defining, documenting, and coordinating support deliverables as well as knowledge transfer for sustaining support.
- An ability to understand complex business process issues and communicate technical solutions to the business, and to Management, is essential for your success in this role.
-Strong project management skills, an in-depth understanding of business and IT support processes, a strong technical knowledge base (including architecture, design, and implementation of global services technical ecosystem including Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, handling receipt of logs via http or email, parsing, storage of flat files, and, RESTful services providing access to technical data and processes), and ability to work cross functionally are required for this position.
-Resource must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Hbase, and/or REST technologies required
- Experience with IT system development methodology, specifically operational support
- Must have completed multiple, complex technical projects
Hire Details:
-Will provide IT Support Readiness assistance for a large, eco-system refresh project for business critical functionality supporting the Client Global Services organization and operations.
Work Environment:
Will work on Sunnyvale campus in a cubicle environment.
Work hours approximately 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
