Very exciting, fast growing, 4 year old start- up company currently in stealth mode, developing interesting SoCs & platforms & working on the latest technology edge, in a close collaboration with various partners and customers. Company is well funded and has solid financial backing from large corporate, strategic and financial investors. Founded by an experienced team with many industry notables involved in various capacities. Company currently employs approximately around 75 people in US and ramping up the team to close to 100. Company currently has close to 125 people worldwide.
Required Skills/Experience:
• 7+ years of experience as a Linux kernel driver development.
• Expertise with one or more of SAS, SATA, AHCI, Fibre Channel, ONFI protocols.
• Requires solid low level OS Linux kernel and chip programming experience.
• 10 years of programming in C essential.
• Good understanding of multi-CPU (i.e. SMP) environments is a plus.
• Ability to work with h/w team to define and specify hardware architecture.
• Experience with ARM or x86 architecture.
• BSEE (MSEE preferred)
Good to have skills:
• Strong problem solving skills, versed in debugging chip level issues.
• Strong communication skills and able to discuss complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of low level PCI/PCIe is a plus.
• PCIe SRIOV experience a plus.
