This person will have an integral part in the development of a new GUI framework for their current desktop support and infrastructure support ticketing application.
Ideally, this candidate should have secondary experience generating simple reports and manipulating database information using Crystal Reports and SQL.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creation of a new GUI for current applications using Flex and ActionScript
• Creation of operational and project-related reports including design, documentation, development, testing, implementation and ongoing support.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders to assist in the creation of custom software solutions to suite their needs. Document main points, issues and key decisions.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant software engineering and report generation experience
• 3+ Years of Flex coding for Enterprise application
• Must have Dashboard programming experience.
• Must have Chart Programming experience.
• Must have Tag programming experience.
• Must have usecase driven development methodologies.
• Must have understanding of OOP programming concepts.
• Experience designing and creating reports using Crystal Reports and Business Objects Enterprise reporting tools
• Experience with SQL for simple table joins and data manipulation
• Experience in object and user management using Business Objects CMC.
• Experience in Server Management in BOE environment
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment, problem solve and develop solutions.
• Strong documentation and Communication skills.
• Ability to translate user requirements into functional & design specifications.
• Experience with Mate Framework, Java, WebService, ARS Remedy API, fine tuning DB queries will be an added advantage.
