Job Title: Sr. IC Design Engineer MH207-11
Reports To: Director of R&D
Location: South Bay Area (Sunnyvale, San Jose)
Compensation: Base and Bonus plan will be commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform High Speed Analog Design of integrated circuits for 10/20Gbps to 100Gbps optical components and sub systems
Design new Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIA) and Modulator Drivers, etc. for the high speed optical communications market.
Drivers and Amplifiers will be designed utilizing III-V and or SiGe materials. Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), Indium Phosphide (InP) and Silicon Germanium
This is a design role in a lab environment, but also offers the unique opportunity to get out of the lab and meet customers to verify design requirements. Great opportunity to expand into other areas of design and or technology management.
Develop reference designs and application notes
Participate in the Optical Internetworking Forum
Job Requirements:
BSEE minimum
High speed analog design knowledge
Experience with S parameters
Experience as an applications or design engineer with optical ICs, Transceivers, Modulator Drivers, Amplifiers, etc.)
Must have experience using optical test equipment and design tools like Agilent ADS or Cadence
