Duration: 6+ months with quarterly renewal

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are insearch of an IT PM comsultant for our client in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities:
- Interacts with business, IT team members and Management teams to ensure quality standards, governance processes and organizational needs are met
-Works with Business and IT teams that implement workforce services capabilities
-Close coordination with counterparts across HR, Finance, WPR and IT organizations
-Drive resolution of roadblock issues preventing success
-Develop and manage service usage data reporting process
-Become a SME on IWE Governance and Release processes
-Train and assist new IT Pms, Analysts and Engineers on standards and governance
-Ensure alignment with ITaaS Framework

Technical Skills:
-Project management: including budget, time tracking and accuracy (essential)
-Good IT overview. Enjoys working with technology (essential)
-Web-based software applications (web 2.0)
-Strong written and spoken English language skills (essential)
HTML
-Liferay experience (preferred)

Soft Skills:
-Analytical and problem solving skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Expectation management with valued partners
-Consulting and influencing skills
-Strong business acumen

Experience and Education
- BA degree preferred,
- 10+ years-related experiences in project management
