Jamcracker is the leading provider of Cloud Services Broker Software into Service Provider Markets including; telecommunications, technology - software/hardware, distribution – direct and multi-tier, and SI/Outsourcers – Enterprise. Jamcracker provides a software platform and services to enable Service Providers and Enterprises to deliver and manage Cloud Services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, etc.)
Solution architect will interface with business analysts and customer SMEs to analyze customer business requirements both functional and non-functional and responsible for proposing technical solutions based on the Jamcracker platform. Additionally, Solution architect will coordinate with off-shore delivery teams in delivering the solution and be the single technical contact between the customer and the delivery teams.
Position Requirements:
• Ability to conceptualize and architect solutions for enterprise products.
• Work with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Ability to work in dynamic fast paced environment
• Help different teams during RFI / RFP process as well as in post contract phase
• Interest in latest technology trends in the industry and drive a new innovation into engineering
• Excellent writing and communications skills.
• Deep understanding of services oriented architecture and Web Services and REST APIs.
• Be able to work with internal and external clients in an onsite-offshore environment
• Must be excellent problem solver, creative thinker, and self-motivated.
Technical Skills:
• 8 to 10 years of overall experience in software industry experience in building large, diverse and/or complex distributed technologies.
• 5+ years of customer facing experience in architecting solution across technologies.
• Worked in technical positions with globally distributed team to deliver turnkey, innovative solutions in a fast paced environment.
• Experience in delivering enterprise identity management solutions working primarily with any of the IdM products such as Ping identity, SiteMinder. Working knowledge in AD, LDAP, SAML, and JAAS will be preferred.
• Involved with creating large framework systems, on which many applications are based.
• Successful track record with ability to design and develop J2EE compliant enterprise applications that are robust, complex, scalable and use advanced J2EE technologies (i.e. JNDI, JDBC, JMS, EJB, Servlet, JSP, XML, SOAP, REST API, )
• Experience in building applications integration frameworks and good understanding of On Demand Computing / Software as service paradigm.
• Strong self-initiative to strive for both personal and technical excellence.
• Experience in cloud computing technologies, workflow / BPM and policy / rules engines will be a plus.
• Be an active member of various Software Standard organizations and a regular contributor to technical journals will be a plus.
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering.
• MS in Computer Science, Math or Engineering is preferred
