JOB DESCRIPTION
The mission of our professional services team is to make our customers successful and referenceable. Training is an integral part of that mission. The role of the Technical Trainer is to develop and deliver training programs for our customers and partners. To be successful in this role, you will become an expert in Agiliance RiskVision, our deployment methodology, customer use of RiskVision, and integration between RiskVision and third-party products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of RiskVision features and functions, deployment methodology, customer use cases and third-party integration options. Be able through training programs to transfer this knowledge to Agiliance customers, partners and employees.
* Assess current customer and partner training programs, training materials and certification processes and as necessary re-architect them for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
* Work closely with Product Management and Tech Pubs to keep training materials up to date with product releases and in sync with product documentation. Work closely with Professional Services Deployment Consultants to continually update and enhance training materials to incorporate improvements in deployment best practices.
* Work with Marketing and Sales to publicize and promote training offerings.
* Manage pre-training registration and post-training examination and certification.
* Deliver classroom training to customers and partners.
* Develop web-based and recorded training options.
* Develop instructor guides and lead train-the-trainer classes.
* Maintain database of trained and certified RiskVision implementers.
* Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the technical training programs and refine and improve
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 5 years developing and delivering technical training, ideally as a billable service.
* Experience with production and delivery of web-based training.
* Experience in deploying enterprise software.
* HTML experience plus understanding of web technologies (Apache, HTTP, WebServices, JDBC).
* Experience with SQL and databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
* Excellent interpersonal skills including proven presentation and facilitation skills.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, startup environment while simultaneously serving large enterprise customers with complex organizations. Prior startup experience preferred.
* Outstanding work ethic, results-oriented, and creative/innovative style
* Willingness to travel 50%+, including international travel.
* BS in CS, IT or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience.
LOCATION
The position is based at Agiliance´s headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
COMPENSATION
Compensation package consistent with stage of company and individuals track record will include cash compensation. This is a contract position.
