Job Title Systems Engineer

Duties
- As a senior system engineer, the primary responsibility is to evaluate high performance interface technology.
- The candidate will have the responsibility to define and drive resolution in cross functional areas of system design including but not limited to architecture, development and production.
- The candidate must be capable of working independently, have excellent communication skills, be self motivated and a team player.
- You will be part of a widely skilled team with focus on hardware system architecture, physical design, project management, innovation, quality and customer success.

Responsibilities:
- Defining system Hardware architecture
- High speed system design from concept to implementation
- Design through bringup of system validation platforms schematic capture, layout, fab, assembly
- Formulate test plans for characterization and system margining
- Data analysis and summary
- Signal integrity simulations
- Basic Package design
- Anomaly Tracking and driving resolution
- Active pre-sales support

Skills
- B.S or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years experience
- DDR2/3 and GDDR memory system design and architecture
- RF PCB System design
- Experience in FPGA/CPLD logic design
- Experience in high speed design, power distribution techniques and signal integrity
- Familiarity with scripting / programming
- Knowledge of Physical design in PCB and Packaging
- PCB CAD design tools
- schematic capture and layout
- Demonstrated experience in shipping products
- Working knowledge of test and measurement equipment, troubleshooting and electronic debugging

Location:-Sunnyvale, CA
Duration:-6+ months
